Abstract

Stakeholder participation and service experience are two important factors in increasing eudaimonic well-being. This research aims to examine the relationship between stakeholder participation, service experience, stakeholder empowerment, social support and eudaimonic well-being. This research used a survey method with 120 respondents consisting of village heads and community leaders spread across 18 districts in Mimika Regency, Central Papua Province, Indonesia. The research results show that stakeholder participation has a positive effect on service experience, stakeholder empowerment has a positive effect on service experience, service experience has a positive effect on eudaimonic well-being, and stakeholder participation does not support eudaimonic well-being. The results of this research also show that service experience mediation positively influences stakeholder participation towards eudaimonic well-being, while stakeholder empowerment and social support cannot moderate the relationship between stakeholder participation and service experience. This research also found that to ensure a pleasant service experience, Bappeda must design and manage service processes based on a good understanding of stakeholder needs and goals, in particular, the meaning of service in organizational life. In addition, to facilitate stakeholder interaction with staff services, Bappeda can also wisely empower stakeholders by adapting to the level of stakeholder participation.
