Dr. Shirley (Min) Liu
She conferred her PH.D. at Florida Atlantic University and visited Columbia Business School and New York University. She currently is the assistant professor in accounting at South Dakota State University after she was a full-time faculty at Boston University, University of Illinois Chicago, Brooklyn College, and University of Southern Mississippi. She has been researching on accounting economy, corporate governance, valuation of corporation, economic impacts of accounting regulations, banking, research methodology, etc. Her publications appeared at Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, Journal of Risk and Financial Management, Oil, Gas & Energy Quarterly, chapters of “Encyclopedia Finance” and “Handbook of Financial Econometrics, Mathematics, Statistics, and Machine Learning,” etc. Dr. Liu’s work frequently appears at programs of the American Accounting Association Annual/Sectional/Regional Meetings. She offered numerous referee reports to various academic journals and conferences.
